Welcome to Aziza's Place, a grassroots home and learning center serving underprivileged Cambodian children. AP children come from the Steung Meanchey municipal dumpsite, city slums, and other vulnerable situations or lifestyles. Our colorful and vibrant community is located in the heart of the capital city Phnom Penh and opened its doors on February 14, 2007. Aziza’s Place is the namesake of Aziza Yasmeen Ghori, whose radiant compassion now echoes through the lives of children here. Our Vision is for all Aziza’s Place children to develop into responsible adults with the life skills to become productive citizens of their community, economically self-sufficient and socially empowered.

Our Mission is to enable each resident to reach their maximum potential by providing them with a safe environment, a range of recreational activities, and a quality educational and developmental program, nurturing their individuality whilst facilitating them for success, whether this involves graduating with a university degree, enrolling in vocational training, or obtaining gainful employment.

We have five Core Values:

• Honesty - we believe that trust is the foundation of a genuine relationship.
• Caring - looking out for each other, each and every day.
• Unity - living as a family, listening to one another and working together.
• Opportunity - embracing the chance to reach our potential.
  

Aziza’s Place opens doors for Cambodian children and their families. The combination of holistic programs for our children and outreach to their family members allows for the entire family to look towards the future with hope. In a country recovering from years of civil war and cultural destruction, we believe Aziza’s Place programs and services are an effective pathway to revitalizing Cambodia’s communities.
