Past Members of The Aziza Ghori Charitable Foundation Team

Fauzia Ghori
Aziza's Mother and Co-Founder

n February 2006, Fauzia took a sabbatical from her position as V.P. of a major marketing company in the U.S. to focus her time and energy on the Foundation's work. She has traveled extensively, helping establish some of the Foundation’s programs and even participated in documentary filming in Cambodia.

Fauzia visited Aziza's Place in 2009 and has pledged her continued support with the project. She has entered study at law school which is currently keeping her tied down in California.

Daniel Haney & Alexandra Robbins
Program Directors, Aziza’s Place, 2009 - 2010

Dan and Ali visited Aziza’s Place soon after it opened in 2007 as volunteers. They were moved by the mission to offer a better future for Cambodian children and returned two years later as co-directors. Both are Virginia natives with a passion and dedication to grassroots development. Finding partners in sustainability and leading Aziza’s Place to be a steadfast resource to the children and communities it serves was their focus.

Ali first met Aziza at a family gathering in 1998. She remembers how Aziza’s radiating nature and bright smile captivated her. She is honored to be involved in Aziza’s legacy with the Aziza Foundation.

Nader Ebrahimi
Director, Aziza’s Pla
ce, 2006-2009

Having witnessed the plight of Cambodia’s vulnerable youth and having worked extensively as a filmmaker, Nader decided to move to Phnom Penh to help bring positive change to these children’s lives. A native of San Francisco, Nader worked in New York and Barcelona before settling in Cambodia in late 2005. Aziza’s Place opened its doors in February 2007 under Nader’s direction. In March 2009 Nader passed away, but his legacy continues through AP’s ability to educate poor children and to give them the chance to achieve their full potential.
